tpm is a 'Habia Member School'

tpm Staff - Habia Member SchoolThis year tpm became a HABIA Member School. This prestigious membership means we have improved our presence and expertise in the sector even further with advanced access to knowledge and information of key importance to our client groups. Similarly, we can be better involved in future decisions about the National Occupational Standards against which we train and qualify Apprentices.

Employer and learner advantages will include first hand education news and updates which will help keep us at the forefront of any new industry initiatives, discounts on a variety of products, improved opportunities for staff training and the highest standards of Continuous Professional Development. Four of the programme's six staff are pictured above with the proudly displayed membership plaque.

tpm is a long-standing member of the Merseyside Hairdressing Forum of training providers and Director Brian Quinn, has chaired the 12-member forum since October 2008. Our work with the MHF, in part explains why we continually develop our hair and barbering apprenticeship training in dynamics ways that meet the changing needs and service requirements of learners and employers in the sector.

tpm's hairdressing and barbering Apprentices already benefit from access to advanced technology such as SmartScreen which provides dedicated, interactive and unit-specific teaching and learning support for tutors, assessors and learners and LearnXtra a visual online learning support resource for students. The websites are packed with fantastic visuals, hair galleries, and videos showing the latest techniques and animation films for education.
