Payments Policy

tpm uses Worldpay to process payments from clients. Typical clients are students paying for their own learning by cash or loan methods or business owners who employ apprentices and pay for their learning by co-investment (non-Levy employers) or by means of Apprenticeship Levy funds from their Apprenticeship Service digital account (Levy-paying employers).

Terms

  • Payment can be made in full by cash, cheque or Worldpay payment
  • Some courses can be paid by monthly instalments via FuturePay (see below)
  • These payments are non-refundable.
  • Clients can cancel scheduled future payments at anytime via their own banking service
  • Where expected scheduled FuturePay payments are not made on time or where payments are suspended without negotiation with tpm; service provision may/will be withheld or suspended until payment resumes

Refund Policy

Privately funded courses

  • You can request a full refund up to seven days after enrolling onto a course, provided the course has not started and you have paid for it.
  • If you withdraw from your course the full fees are payable; if you have already paid you will not be entitled to a refund, nor will you be entitled to a credit note for fees invoiced, unless there are extenuating circumstances.
  • In terms of the Refund Policy, extenuating circumstances are at the discretion of the Finance Manager.
  • To assess whether you have extenuating circumstances, you must write to the Finance Manager and submit proof before your circumstances can be considered. If there are no special circumstances and you have withdrawn from the course, then the full fees are payable.
  • Courses that cannot be continued or rescheduled will be refunded in full.
  • Any requests made after seven days of enrolment will be disregarded.
  • We will process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case, within 30 calendar days of the day on which you requested it.
  • While we make every effort to run courses as advertised, we reserve the right to change course content, dates, lecturer/trainer and assessments. We also reserve the right to suspend any student who we deem is displaying unacceptable behaviour.

ESFA funded courses

Non-Levy funded employer contributions

  • Non-levy eligible employers are required by Government to make a 10% contribution to the cost of the apprenticeship in certain circumstances See Infographic
  • These are payable by means of 10 equal monthly instalment payments.
  • These payments are non-refundable.
  • We will endeavour to ensure all leavers are processed timely, it is the employer’s responsibility however, to notify tpm immediately when an Apprentice intends or leaves their employment and to cancel their scheduled monthly contributions.
  • Refunds for payments made in error cannot be rectified.
