I am 39 years old and manage my own hair salon, enjoying every aspect of the job. When tpm visited the salon to highlight the training they offer, I decided to take the opportunity to better my career by signing up to a level 3 qualification. It was a great decision: I really like my course, my teacher and my personal assessor have been very encouraging and I’ve enjoyed completing the tasks I’ve been set. In addition, I’ve developed skills in health and safety and in working laws, and gained more all round confidence.
I’m really grateful to tpm for helping me get back into education: it’s rejuvenated my career. Once I complete my course I plan to apply for a pre-teaching course at Liverpool John Moores University.
