Continued staff achievement through CPD

Claire Naughton - tpm's Claims and Finance Mangertpm’s Finance and Claims Manager, Claire Naughton has had happy new year news this week as she learned that she had passed her December 2011, CIMA exam: Performance Operations Unit.

When asked about her achievement Claire said..."I feel privileged to work in a supportive company, which has given me the opportunity and encouragement throughout my studies,despite my own self-doubt at times. I couldn’t ask for anymore, tpm truly want staff to achieve and believe in professional development and for that I am thankful!

This exam is a significant milestone in the CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) qualification that Claire is undertaking with tpm. CIMA is the world's largest professional body of management accountants. It offers the most relevant finance qualification for business, and teaches skills for strategic advice, managing risk and key decision making.

Claire has worked with tpm and its predecessor since leaving school and is the perfect ambassador for young people who want to aim high and achieve professional roles and status within their career. Initially Claire undertook intermediate and advanced Business Administration qualifications as an apprentice and as her work roles evolved and progressed to management, she achieved Level 4 in Management and an accountancy-specific qualification (Association of Accounting Technicians) Level 4 Diploma - in accounting.

Claire’s continuous professional studies typify tpm’s approach to staff development and are designed to deliver a strong understanding of all aspects of business so that as a Senior Manager, she can contribute in many areas of the organisation’s planning, operations and future success.
