Get with Apprenticeships 2012

Rosie O'Brien CuttingChildcare students lear first aid skillsBusiness AdministrationIn 2012, Apprenticeship Week is between 6 and 10 of February and this year’s theme is “Get with Apprenticeships”. Organised nationally by the National Apprenticeship Service this is a time when all eyes are on Apprenticeships and it’s all about raising the profile amongst employers, individuals, teachers, parents and the media. For us at tpm it’s about:

  • Talking to employers about the talent and skills that an apprentice can offer and the succession planning and business advantages that brings. Employers can begin by downloading our Business Solutions brochure or reading some of our employer testimonials.
  • Similarly, we are always keen to promote the range of Apprenticeships on offer for young people in Childcare, Business and Administration, Hairdressing and Barbering and the individual success our learners have, such as Johnathan Carmichael and Jon Wraight.
  • Taking our recruitment team on the road to careers and schools events to promote career opportunities for young people: Hilbre High, Wirral on 17thJanuary, University Academy Birkenhead on 24th January and The Academy of St Francis Of Assisi on 25th January.

Whether you are a parent, an employer or a young person interested in Apprentices, there will be some promotional activity near you and there’s never been a better time to ask that question than now; call one of our expert consultants now on 0151 709 6000.
