tpm wishes Liverpool Pride every success
tpm is celebrating Liverpool Pride 2011 with this commemorative 'Rainbow Logo' that we commissioned especially for the event.
As students complete their exams this week, Liverpool Pride commences and will bring the City to life with it's 'Summer of Love' theme (chosen by the LGBT Community). A myriad of other events including health and wellbeing, live music on two stages, market stalls and celebrations will rock the City port area. The undoubted highlight of the festival, the Pride March gives the LGBT community, their friends and their families the chance to parade through Liverpool’s streets in a blaze of colour, music and, this year, hippies, whilst raising awareness of homophobia in the local area. The march is planned to start at St Georges Plateau, Lime St, from 12pm (participants are asked to gather from 11am).
In a brief interview with SEEN Magazine recently, Director Brian Quinn said, 'I am very proud of Merseyide's young people and would like our LGBT youth to know more about tpm's Apprenticeship services; we hope the event is a spectacular success'.
