tpm has successfully tendered as a Lead Provider on the Learning and Skills Improvement Service (LSIS) framework register. Quality Director, Paula Hayes commented: ‘This means that LSIS has recognised tpm’s best practice, quality and expertise in our field and may call upon tpm to support other learning and skills providers to develop their programmes during 2011-12’.

This success follows previous work delivered for LSIS through the Skills and Employer responsiveness Programme and the Support for LLN Programme during 2010-11, which involved delivering a programme of quality support and curriculum development to a variety of FE colleges, work-based learning and private sector training providers in the Northwest and the East Midlands by means of Master classes, Peer Exchange Groups, Study Visits and webinars.
Claire Collins, tpm’s Language Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) Associate who delivered much of last year’s work stated: ‘Being awarded Lead Provider status by LSIS is a credit to the whole team at tpm – there is a spirit of continuous improvement throughout the organisation and it is great to see this recognised at a national level’.
