Students contribute to community and charity this Easter

Real Easter EggTo enable our learners to make a contribution to their community and raise their awareness of charitable organisations, tpm has purchased 12 Real Easter Eggs and is raffling them to raise money for charity this Easter. Tickets are on sale in our Lime Street centre for 50 pence each. Anyone can buy tickets at our reception and the money raised by tpm supporters will be donated to our local young people’s charity YPAS.

The Real Easter Egg is the first in a range of meaningful chocolate products made by The Meaningful Chocolate Company, which is run by people who are passionate about ethical trading with experience in the manufacturing, commercial, financial, not-for-profit, marketing, voluntary, charity and ethical trading sectors.

In addition to the money raised by tpm for local charity YPAS, 10% of the profits made from the sale of The Real Easter Egg will be donated to Baby Lifeline; helping support pregnant women and newborn babies in the UK.

Also, 30 pence from every Real Easter Egg sold will be donated to Traidcraft Exchange; a development charity which helps small-scale farmers and producers in developing countries gain the confidence, knowledge and opportunities to work together effectively, find markets for their products, and trade successfully – resulting directly in increased incomes and improved livelihoods.

If you can't wait for your chance in our raffle check out your local Morrison’s, Waitrose or Co-operative supermarkets who have agreed to stock the Real Easter Egg this year.
