Independent equality agency, Babcock Research, is conducting a national survey on behalf of the Skills Funding Agency, to explore the barriers to, and experiences within, adult learning for people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT).
A confidential web survey has been set up for learners to provide their views and experiences to this important piece of research, which aims to inform future policy and practice within adult learning, at this very important time following the introduction of the Equality Act 2010.
If you are aged 19 or over, and would like to take part in total confidence, please click the link below (or type it into your internet browser). http://www.keysurvey.co.uk/survey/339595/2b13/
Babcock Research takes confidentiality seriously – they follow the Market Research Society Code of Conduct and the Data Protection Act at all times. No trace of their website will be left on your computer, no response will be made to you, and you will not be identified to tpm or any other organisation.
If you would also be interested in taking a more active role in this important piece of research, there is the opportunity at the end of the survey to volunteer to take part in an interview with a researcher, or to take part in a focus group with learners from similar backgrounds. You can either fill out the form at the end of the survey, or email speaktoproject12@babcock.co.uk; or phone 07734 496664/01904 656655 and ask for the Project 12 research team.
