Charlotte-Fest a Celebration of Life

On Saturday the 10^th September at Vale Park, New Brighton, Charlotte-Fest celebrated the life and memory of childcare apprentice Charlotte Churchill.

Angie, Charlotte’s mum and ‘Team Charlotte’ (friends and family) organised the festival to raise critical funds to launch the Brightside Trust in Charlotte’s memory. The event brought hundreds of family friends and supporters out to the park for the day and later to the Boot Pub for the evening raising just in excess of the target sum of £5,000.

Angie commented proudly to tpm assessor Louise Hazely, that there had been an incredible amount of support from people who knew Charlotte including the Boot Pub (one of their main supporters), CALM, Brooke, parents and staff from Jack and Jill Nursery where Charlotte worked, tpm students and staff and local Beauticians all of whom helped to raise money from donations, selling the Brightside-Trust wrist-bands and turned up to offer support at the event.

The Charity now has the means to establish Brightside formally and has lots of plans for future events and fundraisers, which are detailed in the Charity's website link above. tpm wish the charity every success and will keep you posted.
