World AIDS Day 2010 - ACT HIV AWARE

Liverpool’s Sahir House; World Aids Day event in St George's Hall. Doors open 6.45pm, event commences at 7.30pm – 8.30pm. This is a FREE event, everyone welcome.

ACT HIV AWARE LOGOThis World AIDS Day - 1 December - take action to tackle HIV prejudice and to protect yourself and others from HIV transmission. In the UK about two thirds of people living with HIV are men and a third are women. The number of people living with HIV in the UK has trebled in the last 10 years. Over half of all people living with HIV are aged between 30 and 44, but there are significant numbers both of young people and older people now living with HIV. HIV is increasing in every region of the world.
