Pride of tpm - Management and teaching staff graduate

tpm Teaching Staff Graduation July 2010tpm teachers Sue Duffy, Gemma Vickery, Anita Jones, Carol Fleming, Steven Clark and Kelly Hodgson were among hundreds of LJMU students celebrating their graduation at Liverpool’s Anglican Cathedral this month.

Having completed the PTLLS award in 2008-9 the staff have been working towards the ‘Diploma to teach in the lifelong learning sector’ (DTLLS) award. It is the highest qualification within the suite of Initial Teacher Training (ITT) courses for teachers and trainers in the FE sector.

Also celebrating were Managers, Paul Harding, Lesley Lavin, Tammy Vickery, Paula Ebden, and Lisa Riley who attended a graduation ceremony at Liverpool Community College recently, following their successful achievement of ‘ Level 4 NVQ in Management’ during 2009.

tpm Management Staff Graduation July 2010tpm Board of Directors expressed their pride at the academic and professional achievements of their staff. The Board also congratulated Janet Smart Quality Improvement Manager, who successfully graduated her Level 4 Diploma in Leadership & Management and Childcare teacher June Lloyd who will complete her teaching qualification later this year.

Director of Human Resources, Brian Quinn said ‘we are delighted at the results of our staff development programme; these achievements mean that tpm staff are amongst the highest qualified in our industry which ensures the quality of teaching support and care extended to our clients’.
